A rare conversation on what matters most

We struggle to stay present. We wait for the world to become peaceful. And too often, we feel powerless to change any of it.

What if power, presence, and peace are closer than we think?

If you can win over your mind, you can win over the whole world.

How do I get to the venue?

State Theatre New Jersey
15 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901
On Livingston Avenue between George Street and New Street

By train New Brunswick Station is a few blocks away on NJ TRANSIT’s Northeast Corridor line, also served by Amtrak. By rideshare Use 15 Livingston Avenue as the drop-off address. Expect heavy curbside traffic right before the program starts.

Where can I park?

The theater does not have its own parking lot. Parking is run by the New Brunswick Parking Authority, whose decks are open 24 hours and sit a short walk from the theater:

  • City Hall Lot
  • Civic Square Deck
  • Morris Street Deck
  • New Street Deck

Metered street parking is also available nearby. To guarantee a space, reserve in advance through ParkMobile — or use the ParkMobile app, search for State Theatre and pick the date you’re attending.

Reserve parking on ParkMobile

Reservations are handled entirely by the Parking Authority — the theater does not control deck spaces or availability. Allow extra time to park and walk over, especially on a weekday evening.

The auditorium has a large-area assistive listening system (Dual FM and Wi-Fi). ASL interpretation, audio description, and large-print or braille programs can be arranged with advance notice.

A limited number of accessible parking spaces sit directly in front of the theater and on metered streets nearby. These cannot be reserved through ParkMobile or any other service and are first come, first served. Additional accessible spaces are in the Civic Square Parking Deck, so allow extra time.

Full venue accessibility details

How do I request accessible seating or an accommodation?

Contact the event team as early as you can, and no later than three weeks before the event, so accessible seating, companion seating, assistive listening, ASL interpretation, audio description, or large-print and braille materials can be arranged. Requests made closer to the date can’t always be filled.

Can I take photos or record the program?

Please keep phones silenced and refrain from photography, filming or audio recording once the program begins, especially during meditation. Cameras and recording devices other than phones are not permitted in the theater.

Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

Tickets are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to someone else. To transfer, contact the event team with the new attendee’s name and email so the registration can be updated before the event.

I still have a question. Who can I contact?

Please contact our team and we’ll be happy to help.

“...something so deep, so steady, and so powerful without struggle”

There are no real words for this. I just can’t believe what Gurudev has opened up for us. To touch something so deep, so steady, and so powerful without struggle.

Ghazal Z.

“It's real change.”

It’s not just intellectual. It's real change. There’s a sense of clarity and lightness. I feel like I’m becoming free.

Abhishek R.

“You begin to see what’s been holding you back”

With Gurudev, it’s not just learning. It’s a shift. Old patterns drop. The noise in the mind clears. You begin to see what’s been holding you back, and it starts to fall away.

State Theatre New Jersey

New Brunswick, NJ 08901

This special gathering with Gurudev will be held at State Theatre New Jersey, a premier cultural institution and landmark venue in downtown New Brunswick. Known for its distinguished history and exceptional setting, the theatre brings a sense of occasion and significance to this rare exploration of Power, Presence & Peace.

Power. Presence. Peace.

A different way of seeing

Gurudev has spent more than four decades exploring the mind, human potential, and what it means to live with greater freedom. He has a rare ability to cut through complexity and make the profound practical, often with unexpected simplicity and humor. You may come looking for answers. You may leave seeing the question differently.

What could power, presence, and peace actually look like in your life?

Power

What would change if difficult people, unexpected events, and circumstances beyond your control no longer had the power to shake you?

Presence

Imagine giving the person, decision, or moment in front of you your full attention, without your mind pulling you somewhere else.

Peace

What if you could feel deeply at ease even before the problems were solved, the uncertainty disappeared, or the world calmed down?

Walk away less easily shaken, more fully here, and more at ease with life as it is.
